Geotechnical Solution - Slope Stability Analysis
Slope Stability Analysis
CivilFEM allows to calculate the safety factor against sliding phenomena in 2D models according to the following methods:
- Classic failure methods.
Fellenius.
Bishop.
Janbu and modified Janbu.
Morgenstern price.
US Corps of Engineers.
- FEM results.
- Action on model: seismic effect, loads and hydrostatic load over the slope surface.
The following actions can be considered in the analysis:
- Seismic effects.
- Loads applied directly over the slope.
- Hydrostatic load.
- Results of a seepage analysis can be introduced as input loads to the slope stability calculation.
