 Geotechnical Solution - Slope Stability Analysis

Slope Stability Analysis

* CivilFEM allows to calculate the safety factor against sliding phenomena in 2D models according to the following methods:

- Classic failure methods.

* Fellenius.
* Bishop.
* Janbu and modified Janbu.
* Morgenstern price.
* US Corps of Engineers.

- FEM results.

- Action on model: seismic effect, loads and hydrostatic load over the slope surface.

* The following actions can be considered in the analysis:

- Seismic effects.

- Loads applied directly over the slope.

- Hydrostatic load.

- Results of a seepage analysis can be introduced as input loads to the slope stability calculation.

                                       Polygonal of Jambu and grid of centres defined by the user

                           Intuitive way of defining loads, circles and water pressure lines
